In 2022, the African population will reach 1.4 billion inhabitants, or 18% of the world’s population, and is facing major health problems. The Democratic Republic of Congo, among the largest countries in the sub-region in Sub-Saharan Africa, has approximately 90,794,000 inhabitants, 41% of whom are under 15 years old. The Republic of Congo, a border country, has an estimated population of 5.6 million inhabitants, mostly young with 56% under 20 years old.

However, the care of these populations in public hospitals comes up against difficulties in terms of available infrastructure to ensure quality care that must integrate several aspects, especially with regard to the pediatric population. The game is one of the fundamental means for the therapy of the child who, finding himself in the hospital, outside his family setting, needs to feel in an environment that suits him.
